My Life In Short

So as it’s the first time that I’m posting here, I thought I’d share a bit about myself. Dunno if anyone cares, but here-goes.

I’m livin and lovin in Las Vegas Nevada. The Sandbox. Sin City. Call it what you will. Unlike a lot of those who moved here in the last 10 years (and left in the last 2) I was born and raised in the shadow of the Vegas Casinos.

My family is rather conservative though and we pretty much steer clear of all that. There’s plenty of other, more family oriented, things to do around here which is good because I’m a single-mom on the go with two kids. (said he didn’t like the heat when he left…but I think that was just an excuse)

Anyway...I’m now carting around the cutest 4 yr old boy and 2 yr old girl you ever did see. If I get some time, I’ll upload some pictures.

We spend a lot of time going to parks and setting up playdates with either Kyle’s or Jenny’s friends. Life can be pretty busy, but I’ve gotten used to it. I can pretty much packup one of my lightweight strollers along with a “mommy bag” and be out the door and down the drive in 5 minutes flat. Takes some practice, but after a while you get good.

To keep this family running I work as a freelance Graphic Designer laying out websites with photoshop for direct mail and other marketing pieces.

I’m glad that I have this kind of flexible job, as I get to spend a lot of time with my kids and don’t have to stress out over getting to an office someplace in-between drop-offs. Thank God for the little blessings.
